Renault выделила самые экологичные модели в своей производственной гамме в отдельную линейку. Она получила название eco2.
Чтобы стать автомобилем eco2, машина должна соответствовать трем условиям. Во-первых, производиться на заводе, сертифицированном по стандарту ISO 14001, который предусматривает низкое потребление воды и электроэнергии, низкий уровень выбросов в атмосферу, а также наносить природе минимальный "визуальный" ущерб. По этому стандарту сейчас сертифицированы 90 процентов предприятий Renault, а московский завод "Автофрамос" проходит процедуру сертификации.
Второе требование - выбросы CO2 не более 140 граммов на километр, и возможность использования биотоплива - этанола E85 или биодизеля B30. Таким требования удовлетворяют лишь высокофорсированные двигатели маленького объема. Это 100-сильный бензиновый турбомотор TCE 100 и 1,5-литровый дизельный dCi мощностью 105 лошадиных сил.
Наконец, автомобиль, входящий в серию eco2, должен быть сделан на 95 процентов из материалов, пригодных для переработки и вторичного использования. А из пластиковых деталей хотя бы 5 процентов должны быть выполнены из переработанных материалов. Сейчас на Clio III таких пластиковых деталей 10 процентов (по весу), а на новом Twingo - 9 процентов.
Пока машинами eco2 в полной мере являются лишь 1,5-литровый дизельный Megane и 1,2-литровый Clio с турбомотором TCE 100. Позднее к этим машинам присоединятся биоэтанол-совместимые версии Megane и биодизельные модификации коммерческих автомобилей Trafic и Master.
