Компания Subaru выпустит ограниченную "финальную" партию автомобилей Subaru Impreza WRX текущего поколения, которые получат имя GB270 в честь Ралли Великобритании (Rally GB). Дело в том, что британский этап WRC является одним из самых успешных для команды Subaru WRT - ее автомобили побеждали здесь девять раз.
базовой модели Impreza WRX GB270 будет отличаться форсированным до 266 лошадиных сил 2,5-литровым турбомотором, подготовленным компанией Prodrive. которая строит раллийные Subaru для чемпионата WRC. С нуля до 96 километров в час новинка сможет ускоряться за 5,3 секунды, (против 5,9 секунды у стандартной машины), а до 160 километров в час - за 13,9 секунды (14,4 секунды у базовой модели).
Кроме того, машины этой серии получат также короткоходный рычаг КПП, 18-дюймовые колесные диски, модернизированный интерьер, новую решетку радиатора и передний спойлер от версии STi. Всего планируется выпустить ровно 400 таких автомобилей, которые будут продаваться только в Великобритании.
